The aim of this course is to provide students with training in the management of a broad range of occupational health & Safety for a variety of workplaces.

Suitable for

Managers, Supervisors, Business Owners, Health & Safety Managers etc.

This is the ideal start for any prospective Health & Safety Consultant / Trainer.

Objectives

By the end of this course, the student will be able to:

• Design and produce a Health & Safety policy
• Describe and define the Organisation of Health & Safety in the Workplace
• Discuss how to promote a variety of methods of promoting a positive Health & Safety Culture
• Demonstrate the completion of a risk assessment
• Describe and discuss the Monitoring, Review and Audit of Health & Safety Culture in their workplace
• Demonstrate and discuss the correct procedures for Manual Handling
• Examine and discuss work equipment
• Examine and discuss electricity safety
• Examine and discuss workplace fire safety
• Examine and discuss chemical and biological hazards
• Examine and discuss construction safety
