Preparing for an Interview

WorkSkills is a flexible, new set of BTEC qualifications suitable for learners of all ages and at all stages of their working lives. WorkSkills work towards arming learners with the skills they will need to gain and maintain employability in this day and age.

The unit will introduce learners to the most important aspects of preparing for an interview. The focus is on forward planning and understanding how careful research of the position and the organisation can enhance the applicant’s chances of completing a successful interview. Learners will know how to prepare an understanding of the role / job / course / placement for which they are being interviewed and be equipped with the knowledge to answer the interviewer’s question fully.
