This course will focus mainly on those skills that are commonly used in the workplace, such as planning or running an enterprise activity or producing a product.
Course Content at Entry Level:
Planning an Enterprise Activity: The key requirements of an enterprise activity; The costs in producing the chosen product or service; How to promote and sell the chosen product or service.
Running an Enterprise Activity: Factors that would lead to a successful enterprise activity; Be able to carry out an enterprise activity; Keep accurate records to identify profit and loss.
Producing a Product: Know how to make a product or item; Be able to identify the skills needed to make a product or item; Be able to produce the product or item safely; Examine and evaluate the product or item.
Course Content at Level 1:
Planning an Enterprise Activity: Know how to select a suitable enterprise activity; Know the appropriate roles and skills required for the enterprise activity; Understand the costs involved in producing and selling the product or service; Know how to promote the product or service.
Running an Enterprise Activity: Know how to increase the likelihood of success in an enterprise activity; Be able to complete an enterprise activity; Be able to review the success of an enterprise activity.
Producing a Product: Understand how to make a product or item; Understand the skills required to make a product or item; Be able to produce the product or item safely; Evaluate how well the product or item was made.
Course Content at Level 2
Planning an Enterprise Activity: Understand how to choose a viable enterprise activity; Draw up a plan for an enterprise activity; Understand the risks involved in running the enterprise activity.
Running an Enterprise Activity: Be able to provide strategy to ensure the success of an enterprise activity; Be able to complete the enterprise activity using appropriate skills and procedures; Be able to evaluate the success of an enterprise activity; Know how to review their personal involvement in an enterprise activity.
Producing a Product: Understand how to plan the manufacture or a product or item; Understand the new skills required to make a product or item; Be able to produce the product or item safely; Be able to evaluate the product or item produced.
