Learner may be required to have responsibility for other people’s money either in a personal situation or in a professional capacity. This unit will introduce the learner to the importance of handling other people’s money responsibly. They will identify suitable methods of payment and follow procedures for handling and storing money safely.

The learner will be expected to:

1. Know different methods of payment and when they can be used

2. Understand the importance of handling other people’s money responsibly

3. Know procedures that might apply when responsible for other people’s money

4. Be able to handle financial transactions responsibly
