In this unit learner will consider the consequences of positive and negative behaviours on a constructive working environment. Learners will develop the skills to interact positively and effectively with colleagues. Learners will know the importance of clear communication, understand how to resolve differences appropriately and be able to offer and receive help, ideas and suggestions from other colleagues in the workplace.

The learner will be expected to:

1. Understand how people in the workplace depend on one another

2. Understand how an individual’s behaviour can affect the working environment

3. Be able to demonstrate positive behaviours that promote effective working
