Workskills – Building Working Relationships with Customers Level 2

The focus of this unit is on developing the skills needed to provide good customer service and on helping the learner to build an understanding of the importance of the customer to any organisation. Learners will be introduced to the concept of customer service standards and the way in which organisations ensure their delivery through the use of protocols. Learners will have the opportunity to demonstrate effective communication with customers and will gain an understanding of procedures for dealing with customer problems and complaints.

The learner will be expected to:

1. Understand how a customer of client’s interaction with employees can influence their opinion of the organisation as a whole

2. Understand why organisations normally have standard protocol in place for dealing with customers

3. Interact positively with customers in line with given company or organisation protocol
