Workskills – Investigating Rights and Responsibilities at Work Entry Level

The unit will introduce learners to the concept of rights and responsibilities at work and will consider the importance of respecting the rights to their colleagues. This unit will go on to explore the types of responsibilities that the learner will have as an employee. The focus will be on their responsibility to arrive on time, dress appropriately and complete set tasks within agreed times.

The learner will be expected to:

1. Understand that they have rights in the workplace

2. Understand that they should respect the rights of others in the workplace

3. Understand that employees have responsibilities within the workplace

4. Know where to seek advice from problems that may arise at work
