Workskills – Producing a Product Level 2

Gaining practical experience of producing a product or item will equip learners with a variety of skills that are useful for the workplace. Learners taking this unit will learn how to choose an appropriate product or item and produce it safely and to a desired standard of quality. The learner will also need to evaluate the success of the finished product or item.

The learner will be expected to:

1. Understand how to plan the manufacture of a product or item

2. Understand the new skills required to make the product or item

3. Be able to produce a product or item safely

4. Be able to evaluate the product or item produced
